103. AIDS Ministry – Chiang Rai

The A.C.T (Akha Churches In Thailand) is an organization that we partner with in the North of Thailand. Jirayut (also known as Jon) used to partner with many different Christian organizations as a health care volunteer. He has worked many years in this field and God continues to give him a heart to work with the Akha tribal people, many of whom live with the HIV virus. Jon travels from village to village sharing with people how to prevent HIV, and to help those with the virus, live with joy by sharing the Good News with them. Jon also helps the villagers by providing jobs for them so that they can help themselves or others in need. Your team will have the opportunity to teach English, work with the church and visit those individuals in the village who are living with the HIV virus.
