1. Tamar Center - Pattaya

The Tamar Center is located approximately 3 hours south of Bangkok. The ladies on your team will be able to accompany the staff as they visit the bars several times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). This is a time of establishing relationship with the girls and inviting them to attend English classes, etc. at the Tamar Center. The ladies on your team will also be involved some afternoons (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) teaching English classes to the girls who are still in the bars. On Tuesdays you can participate in a party for the girls studying English. On Tuesdays and Thursdays you can be involved with other ministries in the city such as the Pattaya Slum Ministry and/or Southern Cross. While the women are doing ministry to the girls from the bars, etc. the men can be involved in prison ministry and/or The Crossing, a ministry to teens and young men! Your team will also be encouraged to do prayer walks and intercession throughout the city, especially along Walking Street, where many bars are located. As well, sometimes your team will also be able to join in an evangelism outreach to the village of some of the girls that are at Tamar Center. SO, all that to say....LOTS of good things happening and we have been seeing tons of decisions for Christ recently down in Pattaya...
