Abba House Ministry is located in Chiang Mai, in the North of Thailand. The vision of Abba House is two-fold in that they desire to do evangelism as well as offer university students English classes. Abba House not only does English and evangelism ministry but also takes care of 20 teenage hill-tribe girls from surrounding hill-tribes. There are many opportunities for your team such as teaching English to the teenage hill-tribe girls (in the evening) as well as visit the Chiang Mai night market to witness to the hundreds of foreign tourist backpackers! During the day-time you can also be involved in ministry at Mae Jo University. You can go on the campus at lunch time with sign's that say 'FREE ENGLISH' lessons and even take a guitar along to play some tunes! The whole purpose is walk around the campus and invite students to come back to Abba House for English classes which run from 10 am-2 pm. You can also hold a teen rally with your English students where you can eat together and play games, perform Christian songs in English and Thai, share a short message and even give an altar call. Vision - One vision is to ensure that each and every girl at Abba House has the opportunity to receive an education, all the way through university. We also have a vision to build a church so that we can reach out to the university student of Mae Jo and the nearby community.
