24. “Home of Joy” Children's Home – Chiang Mai

Home of Joy is located in the North of Thailand, in Chiang Mai. It is a YWAM run orphanage in that it seeks to provide care for orphan children under 5 years old who have no opportunity of being adopted. Home of Joy takes in small groups of children raising them in small family style homes until they are finished with their schooling or able to live on their own. The goal of Home of Joy is to meet the children's spiritual, emotional, and physical needs so that they will know God and make Him known where ever He calls them. Because Home of Joy is a small home with five children, they love to have teams that consist of around 5-7 people. Teams have the opportunity to be involved in practical work such as yard work, gardening, painting, and simple fix-it up projects that exist on the property. Vision –
we are looking for a property to buy as we desire to build a house for small children (infant - 3 yrs. old) and two houses for older children (6 yrs. old and up). We would love to have more staff, preferably a couple, so that they can take care of the children as their own. We also want to see our children get involved with YWAM King's Kids so that they can learn more about God!
