59. Local Thai Church – Nong Jok

Located just outside the city limits of Bangkok lies Nong Jok Church. Pastor Pimpa and her congregation would love to have your team come and minister with them as they look to share the Gospel with this in and around the community! Nong Jok Church is in quite a diverse area as approximately 80% of the population is Muslim, around 10% are Buddhist and 8%-10% are Catholic. Your team has many opportunities for ministry available such as evangelism to Muslim people, teaching English in grade schools and high schools. Your team will also have the opportunity to go to six area police stations and teach English to the police officers. There are also opportunities to go to an orphanage and help brighten the day of a young boy or girl! Finally, your team will also have the opportunity to go and visit with HIV infected men and women and offer advice and suggestions on how to properly care for themselves!

Vision - Our ministry is to continue to work in the Muslim area of Nong Jok, just outside the city of Bangkok. We seek to open a hospice for AIDS parents and their children, a hospice for orphaned children and a hospice for elderly homeless people.
