85. Hill tribe Ministry – Northern Thailand

Pastor Panya and Ratrapee have been ministering as a Karen husband and wife team for over 20 years. They form lasting and loving relationships with the Karen tribal people of Northern Thailand. Their ministry stretches to six (6) tribal villages west of Chiang Mai. Their ministry starts by providing clean water systems, toilets, and the proper training of how to clear land for the growing of cabbage – the highest yielding vegetable in the mountains of Thailand. This in turns brings health, prosperity, and sharing the love of Jesus in a practical way to the Northern villages of Thailand. There is fun too – driving into villages by truck can be beautiful, hikes to rivers through the jungles of lush green forests and waterfalls!
